Originally I am from Nebraska but now I am living with my son Mitchel in California. However, I’d like to share my thoughts with the readers about my neighbor mistress Mary. She is a unique person who deserves to be written a book about. She is over eighty but you never give her age when meeting and speaking to her. Mistress Mary is active and energetic like a woman half her age. She is fond of traveling and driving – never stays at home for a couple of weeks. By the way, she can get along with a computer very well. This woman never asks anyone for a help when she wants to book tickets and a hotel. I tried to explain her that it was dangerous to travel alone in such a country like Mexico but Mistress Mary was inexorable and left for Mexico taking a cat along with her. You ask me if Mary has a family. Actually she has gotten a family – her three sons are living next to our subdivision and the other two sons have left for New York. There are fifteen grandchildren and a grand grandchild in their family. Her elder son Evan is teaching Geography in high school where my son Mitchel is going to. The latter likes the way of knowing Geography through Mary’s son. It is fun to see Mistress Mary on the eve of Thanksgiving Day when the entire family is arriving at home – they are a very close and devoted unit – twenty one members of them. They are enjoying their time together. Mistress Mary, as I’ve already mentioned, drives very well. She was boasting of the fact that she had never been punished for driving. The old woman was attentive and prudent on the roads even taking into consideration other drivers’ mistakes. Staying in Mexico she rented a beautiful red car and drove wherever she wanted without any violations. It happened yesterday when I came back home after work when our telephone was ringing up. My son Mitchel answered the phone – it was Mistress Mary. She told a very interesting story that had happened to her in Mexico.
